Growing up in Naples, Italy, food, wine and family were integral parts of daily life. It felt as though every meal was a performance, a “theatre of food,” where love infused every dish and brought people together to savour, converse, laugh and share the joys of the day. This passion for hospitality runs deep in my veins and I couldn’t be prouder of that!
At Luigi’s, it’s more than just a business to me – it’s like welcoming guests into my own home. Every person who steps through our doors is embraced as a member of our extended family. It fills me with immense pride and gratitude whenever someone chooses to share their time with us.

When Luigi’s first opened its doors in 2014, Mamma was insistent on joining me in the kitchen at 5 am most mornings. She eagerly lent her hand in crafting our signature meatballs, lasagna, parmigiana, sauces, soups and much more.
Braving the chilly mornings, Mamma would eagerly await my arrival outside her home at 5 am, excited to dive into her culinary duties. Her love for cooking and dedication to our customers shone through in every dish she prepared.
Mamma’s greatest joy was seeing people enjoy themselves and relish in the flavours of our food.
Sadly, Mamma passed away on January 21st, 2017. I am committed to upholding her legacy and continuing to make my beloved Mamma proud.
